How To Use

Enter your CMV driving hours and your total on-duty hours for each calendar day. Total On-Duty includes Driving. Do not add the two columns together.

For example, if you work 7.5 hours at another job and then spend 5.5 hours working a bus trip, enter 13 hours as Total On-Duty. Enter only the portion actually spent driving a CMV in the Driving column.

Check 8+ Hr Reset Before Duty when you had at least 8 consecutive hours off duty before that day's duty period.

For accurate rolling-cycle planning, start the calculator far enough back to include the applicable history. For the 60/7 rule, include at least the six calendar days before the date you need to evaluate. For 70/8, include at least the seven preceding days.
